Your favorite family recipes are filled with memories.
The heart of every family is fueled by the foods we share at the dinner table. Food keeps us healthy and helps our children grow. Whether it is a simple weekday dinner or a holiday celebration, meals brings us closer to our family and friends. We are literally bound by the family recipes we cook and share with our loved ones!
I am excited to announce a special project I am working on to celebrate how food and cooking is so important to our family’s lives, while helping the Greater Boston Food Bank provide food to those in need. The book, Made with Love, will be a collection of recipes from different families combined with the stories behind what makes them so meaningful. I am offering a limited number of specially priced photo sessions during the next couple of months to photograph these families cooking and sharing their favorite foods with their children.
Made with Love Photo Sessions
The Made with Love photo sessions document the simple joy of cooking with your kids. You can share your favorite family recipes, along with the stories and traditions that go along with them. You can choose to cook whatever you like, whether it is a healthy meal designed to teach your children about the importance of eating right, or a fun and special treat that’s guaranteed to get lots of smiles. The experience is even more fun when you share it with friends, so I am offering a discounted rate to families who are willing to invite another family or two into their home and cook together. (You can even share the cost of the digital files from your session.)
Following your session, I’ll select my favorite images for the cookbook, along with your recipes and any stories we jot down along the way. You’ll also have access to a complete gallery of images from your session, from which you can purchase digital images, prints, and additional copies of the printed cookbook if you choose. Your recipes will also be featured here on the blog, and a digital version of the Made with Love cookbook will be available as a free download for everyone to share.

Your family recipes can also help end hunger for those in need.
In addition to sharing delicious recipes and inspiring stories, my goal is to help raise money for an important cause by donating a portion of the proceeds to the Greater Boston Food Bank. Their mission is to distribute enough food to provide at least one meal a day to those in need. Its a cause that’s especially important during these cold winter months, and the GBFB has proven to be a worthy investment. In fact 92% of all funds go directly to hunger-relief efforts, and every $50 provides 150 meals!
More ways to get involved…
If you aren’t able to make it for one of the Made with Love photo sessions, you can still submit your family recipes and stories to be part of the Made with Love cookbook. There are several different ways to get involved. More information will be posted in the upcoming weeks, or feel free to contact me if you already know you want to get involved.
